YMCA Camp Greider, located in the hills of West Salem, is a classic day camp.

Camp Greider does not occur in the park or city building as many other Day Camps do – we have our own large (80+Acre) camping site with a waterfront for Kayaking and canoeing, large fields for sports and group games, two archery ranges, a campfire area, miles of trails for hiking and exploring, outdoor heated pool access, and even a lodge for arts and crafts and (gasp!) inclement summer weather.
Kids have a wonderful time learning new skills, meeting new friends and making life-long memories. Each week has a specific theme, and campers are encouraged to participate in the spirit of each unique session.
