Entering grades 4-7

Aquatics Camp
In addition to regular activities, campers in this specialty camp will be participating in activities that include water sports and games, basic life-saving techniques and canoeing. Water treading skills are required to participate in this program. Campers will also participate in an overnight trip to Shelberg Falls, located in Silver Falls State Park and participate in a one day raft trip on the North Santiam River.

Lego Robotics
Campers will be able to work at different levels of expertise within groups to create LEGO machines to do their bidding. Being able to work together and share is a must! Who knows what their creations will be called upon to accomplish? Only by learning to use problem solving and programming skills can they realize their potential!

Medieval Adventure
Huzzah! Take a step back in time to an age of Lords and Ladies of the Camp by the Silver Creek! Cloaks & hoods and tunics & belts are the clothing of choice as campers get a chance to learn medieval customs, games, and skills. Campers shall get a chance to lay claim to various fiefdoms around camp, and even compete for them in duels of honor or possibly battles of glory!

Silver Creek Amazing Race
Campers will work in teams where they will focus on working together to overcome mental and physical challenges as they race around the Camp by the Silver Creek. All the challenges will provide each team with opportunities to come out on top throughout the week. While there are many chances for victory, the main goal for this race is FUN!

Wilderness Survival
Campers will get to practice basic skills for survival away from civilization. They will work on building fires, creating shelters, knots, compass work, and even how to use a GPS unit! Camp Silver Creek offers a wonderful area to practice these skills in a safe and fun manner. Wilderness beware!
